oktoberfest 2016 manila

The first leg of the beer festival hit Pasig City on September 16 at the Metrowalk. The event featured the Dawn, Rocksteddy, and Gracenote. Numerous celebrations are going to rock Manila and other parts of the Philippines this September and October.

While predominantly a music and booze festival for the young, the Philippines has been celebrating this Bavarian tradition in the past 78 years. On October 7, the German Club Manila will celebrate a rather traditional and quasi-authentic Oktoberfest at the Sofitel Plaza, Makati. The club spearheading the celebration assured guests to enjoy Bavarian food and beer. Much awaited is the Bavarian Sound Express that will fill the air with live band music from Germans themselves.

Those who would love to attend the festival may choose among the Saturdays of September until the 15th of October.

Free unlimited beer along with international beer brands are most awaited in this festival. Pinoy rock legends, on the other hand, are expected to shake the party grounds with live performances. The Dawn, Slapshock, Rocksteddy, and Spongecola will keep the party fever going.
